Why Is Training Important?
The goal of training is not to rob your dog of his quirky qualities and personality, such as their clowning. Training is a communication between you and your dog where you understand each other. A trained dog won't jump on people, run out the door, or dig in your yard because it understands you don't appreciate that.
Dogs can begin training as early as three months. Training a puppy can be a challenge at first, but if you start with basics such as "Sit" and "Stay," it will learn quickly. Older dogs can certainly be trained too, they may be slower but their calmer demeanor makes training easier.
